STITCHING: Hand embroidery and Free-Motion machine stitching, Visual storytelling in textile form.

These pieces are hand and machine sewn on fabric including old pianted-on canvas drop cloths, cotton dish towels and found dyed cotton squares. The original paint stains and stains from tempera and acrylic fabric paint become interesting areas of color and part of the overall composition.
