I've been making art professionally for over 25 years. Painting since 2013.
I like to try new things and take my art-making in new directions. Whatever medium I am exploring, I am inspired by mark-making, color, and the deeply soulful, discovery process of being in the moment with the materials and meeting whatever arises, whether it is on the substrate or within my own psyche.
My approach is spontaneous and intuitive. My goal in the studio is to have fun and be curious about the surprises that happen.
I host intermittent Open Studios and Sales Events.Some are open to the public, some are private by-invitation- only events, and I welcome studio visits by appointment.
I take part in numerous art shows in local and regional venues and have ongoing representation by RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, OR.
